Why I Love "Tall" Women

You have two choices when trying to hit on a tall woman.

1.  Grow a few inches

2.  Deal with it.

They aren't going to get any shorter.  Life has given them a filter for those who don't have the confidence(Cojones) to talk to them.  Most of the time, you can tell straight off because it's the only thing the guy is able to talk about- 'Wow, you're tall.'  Good one buddy, I'm sure she hasn't had an entire lifetime of people pointing that out.

To be a bit more accurate, I love tall personalities.  The confidence to be comfortable with who you are, world be damned, is rare.  Some never learn to accept themselves or their quirks.  Weird is good. Weird is attractive.  Weird is awesome. However, how can you expect anyone else to accept it if you are busy stomping out the best part of you?

Don't let social stigma's push down your uniqueness.  Negative reinforcement can only feed seeds that are already planted. 

Sure, people are going to misjudge you, it's inevitable.  Since you can't prevent it either way, why not give people the chance to like you for who you are?

'Why don't you have a girlfriend?' Hopeless Romantics

I love this question because of how uncomfortable it makes people.  It skirts around what people are wanting to say:

What's wrong with you that I'm not seeing?

What type of drama/baggage do you have?

What's the catch?

Hopeless romantics end up repeating the same mistakes and are always surprised by it.  Hopeful romantics though, have full faith in finding someone compatible, but aren't settling for BS in the mean time. Personally, I never answer this questions seriously because it implies that something went wrong in my life, or is wrong with me now.

 'You're too picky' is a pessimist way of belittling your standards.  Ignore them: be a hopeful romantic.

Pretty isn't Everything

Doesn't mean it isn't something.  Pride in your appearance can be just as important as pride in your intellect.

"Man I really wish this outfit didn't look great on me"

"Swimming?  I'd rather not, I'm too comfortable with how I look shirtless, maybe when I gain a few"

"Getting in shape has ruined my life"

Sounds ridiculous?  Good, because it is.  Taking care of yourself involves physically as well. Want to take over the world but can't find the energy to take over today?  Invest in your body as well as your mind, they rely on each other. 

Do you have the best idea ever, but can't find pants that fit?  How do you expect someone to trust you with a project/investment/relationship when you don't seem to put any effort into yourself?  "Looks aren't everything", doesn't mean no one is looking.

You don't have to be Mechad Brooks(I'm working on it).  Great opportunities don't wait to show up when you are looking and feeling your best.  Work to always put your best foot forward.

"My Ex has moved on."

Good.  Exes that don't move on become stalkers.  Closure is a key part to growth.

Don't mistake your ego being bruised for lost love.  If you really care about someone, their happiness is important to you.  Even if it isn't with you.

Snide comments, immature tantrums and passive aggressive Facebook post only help to reaffirm why they shouldn't be with you.

If there ever was a chance of you getting back together, you're ruining it.
