Heavier or lighter, there is a different tone and mindset that I had 25 lbs ago. My diet, my habits, my interest, my influences are all entirely different.
Weight loss/gain is simple to acheive. As are most goals when you break them down to the actions that are required. It's our habits that are difficult to change. Rewards by nature narrow your focus and work really well in simple situations:
"I want to lose weight- I'll just work out every day"
"I want to save money- I'll save all the money I spend on booze and never go out"
The problem with this thought process is that our wants aren't simple. Are habits aren't simple. But I have nothing else to eat. But it's someones birthday(every weekend?). But it's hard.
If you imagine yourself hitting your goals, what type of habits do you have? Who do you hang out with? What do you eat? How clean is your room? How often do you see your family?
In business or you personal life, not defining and planning for the influences that can destract and derail you severly undercut your chances of succeeding. Either come up with a better plan, or copy someone who does.
